About my Vision for D2

and a bit about me.....

"My name is Quasar Alexander, and I’m running for South Fulton City Council, District 2, because I believe our district deserves bold leadership, faster progress, and a councilmember who treats residents as true stakeholders. District 2 is one of the most affluent and resource-rich areas in South Fulton — but it has little to show for it. I’m running to change that.

I’ve proudly served as an elected board member of the Mableton Improvement Coalition (MIC) for two years, working on neighborhood improvement and civic engagement. I’ve built mixed-use properties, owned small businesses in Texas and Georgia — from 5-star pizzerias to convenience stores — and I’ve led national brand-building campaigns for global wine labels, including helping launch Stella Rosa Brandy and making Stella Rosa Wines a household name in Georgia.

I first came to Atlanta in 2012 to film a reality TV pilot with Jon Taffer (from Bar Rescue) called Take This Job and Love It on Spike TV. Since then, I’ve executed contracts with airport giants like Delta, Hojeij Branded Foods (now Paradies International), HMS Host, Mack II, and more. I’ve also produced some of Atlanta’s most elegant charitable events, featuring artists like Brandy Norwood and cast members from Real Housewives, all to raise money for good causes.

You’ll usually find me in a fedora, cowboy boots, or Chuck Taylors, because I’m my own person — just like this city. I drive an electric vehicle, cut my lawn with electric mowers and edgers, and believe our city must lead in climate-friendly policy, modern infrastructure, and real economic development.

South Fulton deserves a District 2 Councilmember who is loyal to its people, not any party or personal ambition. I will work with anyone — legally and ethically — who will work with us to create a better future for our families, businesses, and neighborhoods.
